Complete Me, Complete Me Not.

The longing to feel whole

and completed by another,

speaks to the remnants

of our unconscious desire

to return to intrauterine life.

A place where we felt a sense of calm

and comfort,

through the sound of our Mother's heartbeat,

and soft sonority of her life

in the outside world.

It is a transcendent experience

of unification,

which remains

entirely

inimitable

no matter how hard we try.
