Hello, I’m Helen...

I live and work from a small cottage tucked into the Somerset countryside, where the days move gently — between long dog walks, books piled by the bed, and the changing rhythm of the seasons.

This is where I hold space for others: with warmth, deep listening, and a quiet belief in the healing power of slow, steady work.

The Path That Led Me Here

“The ache for home lives in all of us.”
~ Maya Angelou

I know what it is to live in chaos.  To feel like you don't belong in your own story.  To carry more than your fair share. To hold grief in your bones and still get up in the morning. I’ve known what it means to walk through the dark and find your own way back — without a map, and without much help.

That’s why I do this work. Not because I have all the answers, but because I’ve asked the questions, and searched for my own answers.  Many people think coming to therapy is about finding someone who can give them the answers.  I will tell you now: I don't have the answers for you.  But I know what questions to ask, and I can help you find your own answers, when you're ready.

My focus is on helping women who feel like they’re carving their own path, outside of society’s traditional expectations. Whether you’re single by choice or circumstance, navigating the complexities of life on your own can sometimes feel like a lonely road. It’s easy to feel like an outlier when the world often emphasises relationships as the ultimate source of happiness. But I know that real fulfillment comes from within — from embracing who you are, finding your path, and living life on your terms.

My approach is grounded in heartfelt listening, genuine encouragement, meaningful challenge, and the belief that healing is always possible - even when you feel like you've run out of road. I can support you in discovering the strength that already exists within you — even when it feels hard to see. Whether you're working through past trauma, developing healthier relationships, or simply learning to embrace your solo journey, we’ll work together to help you live a life that feels truly yours.

If you've come here hoping for something quieter, something more real — you're in the right place.
